MERRY CHRISTMAS .... a lil late!

What a wonderful Christmas this year was for the twins!!! They were so excited, and so was I!!!! I can remember the anticipation for Santa and how special that made Christmas morning, it made it so special!!! We had a very busy and loooong Christmas celebration! The whole celebration started on Christmas eve-eve at my dads, and then Santa came to our house!!!! Then the after Santa came we packed up and drove to Pulaski to be with Blake's family on Christmas morning. While in Pulaski we had gifts and family everyday! The kids loved it! Then on Sat we came home and had "Santa Ce-Ce" with my sisters and cousins and my momma! They were in heaven and so was I! They still ask when find a new toys.." Momma did Santa bring me this?" They were 2 happy kiddos!!!
It was so fun for them and so special to me!!! There is nothing in the world that makes me happier than to see my babies faces light up with excitement! To get those wonderful hugs and kisses that say thank you with no words at all, just a simple look and gesture! Kid's are so great at showing us all the innocence we want and wish we still had! I am the luckiest momma in the world and thank god for these 2 gifts he gave me 2 1/2 yrs ago!!!!

As you all know I haven't been the best blogger.. but a new year calls for new blogs!!! I have picked a few things that were REALLY fun and exciting for us as a family!! Bit I have some BIG news that is absolutely thrilling to my little family....

KILAH IS POTTY TRAINED!!!!!!!!

She came to me one day and said " momma I need candy!" and Isaid "welll what do you need to do to get a piece of candy?" and her answer was " I go pee-pee and poopy on the potty!" I nswered "yes! if you do that you can have some candy!" A few minutes later i hear "I DID!!!!" andi looked and sure enough there was pee in the potty!! I am so proud of my liile girl! she has only had a few acciedents andnow does it all by herself with no help from me! She LOVES her big girl panties and really loves telling people what a big girl she is! Did i mention how cute her little butt looks in those panties?!?! SUPER CUTE!!!!!!

I need to let you all know that this was not my first attempt to get rid of diapers....I got all excited and pumped to potty train them both together......BAD IDEA!!!! I spent all day in the bathroom floor and as soon as i would get them up they would pee! Kilah was tring but Brodie had no interest! It was a very sad stressful day for me..as soon as Blake came home i needed a good cry and a little time out of the bathroom! It was the very first time i ever felt defeated by my twins!!! So the next day i decided to put the potty up and talk about it little more and wait and see when they were ready! Well it worked! for Kilah at least! I am waiting on Brodie and Talking to him alot about it and probably gonna try to get him out of diapers in the next month!!!

But man only having 1 kid in diapers is crazy!! 74 diapers last me over a week! Its AMAZING!!!

DISNEY ON ICE!

I absolutely used to LOVE going to Disney on Ice as a kids, and this year the show was about The Incredible, but Mickey and Minnie and there crew were there too! As soon as i heard Mickey and Minnie were there I knew I had my chance and was gonna take them to see it! Blake and I have never taken them to a movie or anything that requires them to sit still for a long time,so this was a first.....

As you can see they were in total AWWWW! they sat with me most of the time like this and watched the whole thing! It was a little scary at times but they never flinched! I was a great family outing and Iam sooo Glad we did it! Next time a movie!!

Even though it Is a few months late!I love Halloween! I used to get all dressed up and go ALL OUT for Halloween! But since I had the twins I have moved all of my focus to the twins costumes!!! I love to dress them in matching costumes,and will as long as they let me!!!!!! As you can see this year they were....

Every year the Denton family has a pumkin carving party at my sister Jessicas house, Thank you Jess for the invite!!! Here are a few pics of that night! The twins love all of the Denton kids and so do I! I have to say that those children all 18 (i think) are so patient and sweet with the babies in the family.... especially mine! It is really nice to be around them because i am not always worring about where they are and what they are doing!

Where has the time gone???? Look at my babies almost 2 yrs ago... that was one of there 3 month pictures. Look at them now! It amazes me how much they change.... It is sad to say but it is hard for me to remember my babies back then!
My sweet sweet SWEET 2 year olds! What a fun age! They are crazy I tell you! They are talking like crazy and running around also fighting like CRAZY! But is is so sweet after the fight it is always ended by a hug and a kiss and the sweetest little "love yous" To watch them together is so sweet and so fun! Kilah is usually the one who wakes up from nap first and is very concerned about her "Brodie Boy" she will grab my hand take me to the steps and tell me to "check on him" or "go get em". On the rare event that Brodie wakes up first he looks for her too! I really cant imagine my life with out both of them!

Brodie White Miles.... My love able Wild man! At his 2 yr visit he weighed 26lbs and was 32.78 inches tall! It is so hard for me to believe that at one time he only weighed 3lbs 9oz~ he was my small baby and now he weighs more that Kilah!
He is so infectious and full of life! He loves airplanes and trains and purses...? He enjoys finding a few favorite toys through out the day and he tends to carry them around all day long..... He loves to watch TV in my lap and do anything in my lap really!

He is such a Mommy's boy... and I love every minute of it!

Kilah Celene Miles... my little diva darling! She weighed 24.4lbs and was 34.5 inches long... but we went back to the doctor last week and she weighed 26lbs. Again hard to believe that she used to weigh 3lbs 13oz.... She enjoys following me around, helping me do whatever it is I'm doing esp. when I am cooking, and telling everyone who she talks to what is hers. (example... "my dress", "Kilahs legs", "My mommy") She is very independent and sort of bossy...such a girl already! She enjoys to eat and wants anything that anyone is eating! After nap if i want a snack and she cant have it I literally have to lock myself in the pantry to eat it!... She has such a amazing love of life and speaks so well! I love watching her learn her be the girlie girl she is and I love watching her want to do things like mommy!

FIRST BOAT RIDE!!!!

I grew up on a boat so I was so excited to take the kids on the boat! They had so much fun, and weren't scared at all!! Kilah actually didn't want me to touch her, so i would have to be sneaky and slip my hand in her life jacket without her knowing! She becoming quite stubborn in her lovely age of 2!!! Brodie thought it was awesome he loves boats and airplanes... and to make the boat ride even cooler for Brodie while we were on the boat a airplane flew really low so he could see it really good! He loved it! I love a good boat ride the wind in your hair and all of the beautiful houses to look at, i was so pleased that the twins enjoyed it as much as I do! And Brodie since then thinks if he is on a boat he WILL see another airplane!!!

My babies are a such a great age! We are having so much fun!

I JUST CANNOT BELIEVE MY BABIES ARE 2!!!!!

Only 1 month past the party I am posting about it! I am getting better!

As most of you know the twins LOVE Mickey and Minnie Mouse and the have since back in the day when they were in exersaucers! Anyway this year they had a Mickey and Minnie party at the "splash pad" at Carl Cowan park! The twins love water and love to run so i thought it would be perfect! It was!!!! These 2 years have FLOWN by way to fast! I look at them and cant believe how far the have come from being my 2 little 3lb babies to now being my little 2 year olds! They are so fun but so challenging at the same time! There are days i want my little 6 week old babies who never sleep back...you know before they fought, bit each other ALL THE TIME, threw huge fits in public and said "no" all the time! But then there are days i look at them and just cant believe my eyes... those 2 are my babies and they are learning so much and trying new things everyday and i am the lucky momma that gets to share all of that with them... and the thoughts of bad things gos far far far away! I wouldn't change a thing about these 2 cuties they are my perfect little twinnies!

I was so pleased with our fun little party! The twins skipped there first nap EVER..i was scared but they were having so much fun they played right thru all the melt downs i thought they would have! They came home played with a few of there new toys and went to bed at 6:45.. and mommy was also asleep on the couch at 8:45! What can i say parties wear us out!

My babies are such a blessing and thank god for there health and safety everyday!

Lots of pics on this post... I decided to no do a slideshow for this one....change it up a bit!

We went to the Hilton Head in May with my mom (Cece), my sisters and all the cousins!!!! And the worlds best babysitter Kurt, Jessica's nephew...we love Kurt!!!! There were 6 kids and 5 adults!!!!! We had a BLAST! The kids love there aunts, uncle and cousins so much they were in heaven getting to hang out with the cool kids for a whole week! Kilah and Anna were so sweet, they enjoyed each other so much! Brodie was having a blast all day everyday hanging out with the big boys, but i am not sure everyone he was around was having near as much fun as he was.... he screamed the whole WEEK!!! He would scream with excitement and anger....it really didn't matter what or why... he just screamed!!!! Gotta love my little man! The twins loved the beach, Kilah especially, she had no fear of it at all, she went running straight to it as soon as we got there and the only thing that stopped her was she would fall down face first in the ocean! Brodie enjoyed it too, but was a little more cautious of the water, he liked the sand, and caring around his shovel and bucket! I enjoyed so much watching Kilah and Brodie exploring new things and loving them! I love watching the world all over again with them!

As you all know i have the best nephews and nieces in the world and have always been very involved in there life's, so getting to hang with 3 of my very favorite kids in the world was awesome! All the cousins love each other so much and drive each other crazy at the same time! So fun to watch!!!

May 2008....mothers day!!!

I know i am so behind because my babies have turned 2 and i am not even caught up enough to post about it!!! baaaad blogger!
Mothers day..... o how i love mothers day! It is my favorite holiday! I guess because it is better than a Birthday because it is celebrating me doing the one thing i love the most in the world...BEING MOMMA!!! So the month of may brought park days and Mothers day! We went out to lunch with my mom, and went to my dads that night! It was great!!! Kilah kept telling me "happy birtday momma!" so sweet and Brodie just knew to be extra loving on that day! Being a momma is the best blessing in the world and no matter how stressed out and tired i get of going going going all the time i would never change the fact that I am mom! These 2 babies are just so much fun to watch and love there is NEVER a dull moment and there is NEVER a moment that they look at me and I don't feel there love!!! AMAZING I TELL YOU! Being a mom is the best job i have ever had!!!!

March and April 2008

So i know i am the worst blogger on the planet! We have been so busy and having so much fun! The end of March brought a early and freezing Easter, April brought Blake's birthday. The twins loved there Easter baskets and all the goodies they had in them! I would like to thank Ce-Ce for buying all the grand kids coordinating outfits for Easter! They all looked so good in them! Sadly we were all having a battle with sickness around Easter and still haven't gotten all 5 grand kids picture taken together in those outfits!
We also had a much needed play date with our buddies "the quads"! This family attends church with us and the quads are a few weeks younger than my twins! There names are Zachary, Reagan, Thomas and Jonathan! We had soo much fun with them! Allison there mom is so organized and does a AMAZING job dealing with 4 toddlers! My hat comes off to her! So Allison when you read this... lets get the kiddos together agin soon! It is going to be so fun to watch our little multiples grow up together!!!
Blake had a great birthday he is 31.....old man! I got all of our family to throw together some money and buy him a nice grill! I am not sure who loves it more me or him!!!! Grilling makes for such a easy dinner, not to mention a yummy dinner! Enjoy the slide show i put together to try to catch y'all up on our fun little life!
I am going to really put forth some effort to keep the blog more up to date!!!

My sweet Kilah Koo!
What a sweet soul she is! So loving and kind...sort of! She is sneaky! If i catch her doing something she isn't supposed to she will look at me and say "hi momma!" really sweet! She is a great talker she speaks very clear. She loves to snuggle and fix my hair! She loves her "night night" which is her blanket and baby dolls! She is my eater she loves green beans, "geenbeans" and anything that anyone else is eating! I call her my scavenger...it doesn't matter what or where I am eating she will find me and sweetly say "more pease!" and will then answer for you by saying "okay" She likes to snuggle and stays right at my feet!She can tend to be a little more shy than Brodie but not for long, give her a minute and shell have you eating out of her hands! She is quit the charmer. She loves her "Brodie boy, and Lola" Lola is our dog! If Blake or I ask her her "who's momma/daddy's girl?" she will answer with "Kilah is!!!" It melts me! Kilah really is just so loving and has a heart of gold! I couldn't love her more!

My Boy Brodie!!!!
He is my mommas boy for sure! He is also my child!!! So friendly and not the least bit shy! He is wild and when some one says "childproof" that doesn't mean "Brodie proof!" He can find and get his hand on whatever he wants! If there is a hammer or a stick of some sort around he will find it! He loves to "fix things"with daddy and talk back! I will tell him no! and he will say "I Just... I just!" He is always running never walking and constantly talking...very loudly! We cant always make out what he is saying unless he really wants us to understand! He will only say and do what he wants when he wants to! He loves TV, and really gets into it he talks back in English and Spanish..if he is watching Dora or Diego! TV is really the only way i can keep him out of EVERYTHING!!! He is adventurous and I love it! He is also quit the comedian...He always keep me busy and laughing! I am totally in love with this boy!!

Only in Knoxville do we have a beautiful 65 degree weather in Feb!!! So we really took advantage and played out side ALOT!!! I love taking the twins pictures outside because the lighting is great and the candid pics are my favorite!
Here are some fun pictures on Kilah and Brodie outside! I learned on this day just how different my kids are ... Kilah parked herself on the ground and played in that same spot so nicely and Brodie just ran... in peoples yards, after dogs, down the hill EVERYWHERE!!! He is all boy I tell you! They have so much fun playing outside!
Please notice Kilah in her sweet pig tails..or just "p tails" as she calls them! She doesn't enjoy having them put in but loves to look at them and swing them around. So girly!!

Okay here we go i am going to try to catch everyone up to speed....
January was a fun month, as is every month in this house! But i quit my job that i had at Belleza Salon and Spa for the last 7 years to stay home with my kiddos!
I still do work on Mondays, but only Mondays at a great little place,it is very nice and quiet and I ABSOLUTELY love it! Staying home was a big adjustment for me but i really love it! My kids are sooo much cooler than anyone else i know and i would rather hang out with them than anyone else in the world! I am very happy with my new job and new roll as stay at home momma!
The kids are wild and into everything! As you can see In the pictures Kilah is definatley a princess and Brodie is all boy! They keep me on my toes and i love every minute!

LATE CHRISTMAS POST!

I know its march and i am just now posting christmas.... been busy! Here it is better late than never!
It was a very special christmas for us, it was our very first christmas at our house with just our little family! It was so specail! I had so much fun starting little traditions with the twins, and i cant wait to share those moments with the twins every year! Watching the twins faces light up at all the toys was so magical and so wonderful! They were so excited! We had our special private little christmas let the kids play and eat a little breakfast, and just enjoyed eachother!
Then it was off to see what "Santa Ce-Ce" left! We got there and it was such fun, crazy, chaotic, wonderful McBride family time! You get all 5 grandchildren together and it gets wild!!! They all love eachother so much and at the same time drive eachother totally crazy! Oh it is so fun to watch!

I love Christmas, everything about it EXCEPT decorating the tree!! This year was especially fun because I had my 2 very special helpers!!!

My family has this little tradition where we get a new ornament each year that sort of has to do with what we are into that year...my mom has done it for all of us our whole lives! Its really cool , and we all really enjoy it! Well of course we have to do the same with our kids, so this year I got them Mickey and Minnie ornaments,,,of course!! They actually found them in JCPenney and told me about it, so they picked them out themselves! Here are a few pics of the decorating experience and the twins putting there ornaments on the tree!!

BETTER LATE THEN NEVER?!?!

I get asked all the time "how do you do it??" and "I couldn't imagine having two at the same time!" But to be honest with all of you I would not have it any other way! I would not have changed one thing about our life and experiences with these 2!!! I had a client the other day that has 13 year old twins, and she out it best...Life with multiples is long days and short years!!! And that is so true I can not believe my tiny little babies are now 18 months old! But my life has just been so full since these two came! I used to wonder what I did before them... and now I cant imagine life with out them! Having twins is such a blessing and I am so very blessed in every way! Sometimes I get overwhelmed and think I am gonna loose it, then I step back look at them and say "This is my life and I love it!"

O my Brodie Boy! This child is just un beleivable! He is alway so happy and always laughing! AND he is ALWAYS in to everything! You can not meet him and not just instantly love him! He gives the best hugs ever and great kisses too! He wraps his arms around your neck and just squeezes! Make me feel so loved and needed! He is starting to talk more and says whatever he wants to and only when he wants to! He loves to point his finger at you and tell you something....sometimes you cant make out what he is saying but he means business thats for sure! He is a mommas boy and I love it! He is a big flirt and a huge hit with all of the ladies! He is just perfect in every way!!!

My sweet kilah!!! where do I begin? She is such a sweet little girl! She is talking like crazy saying anything she wants and looking o so cute while she does it!She loves hair brushes and hair...just like her momma! We might have another hair dresser on our hands! She is running around everywhere and keeps me smiling all day long! She will do something we don't want her to do and we will say NO! and she will run at us with kisses! hard to stay mad at that! She is just so sweet always has kiises for you! She is our little drama queen for sure.... Brodie can only love on her when she wants him to! Watch out world there is another me for you!!! God bless us all! She is just so easy to love, and she knows no stranger! She is the best of me!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN to all of you from all of us!!! Halloween has to be one of my favorite holidays... it is just so fun to dress up and bring out the inner kid in you! I usually go all out for Halloween and make Blake dress up too, but this year I was so into the kids dressing up i forgot about Blake and I and our costumes...o how things change when you have kids!! Kilah and Brodie LOVE the show Mickey Mouse Clubhouse! Kilah calls it "Toodles!" and Brodie calls it "Hot Dawg!" If you have ever seen the show you will know why! So i thought to dress them up as Mickey and Minnie would be just perfect! It really helped when i took them to the Disney store and tried Brodie's costume on him and he yelled"HOT DAWG!!!" We had to have it!! I just love their costumes and they did too! We went Trick or Treating at Jessica's sister in laws neighborhood! There were a ton of kids with us, which my kids loved and it was just sooo fun! We tried to let them walk door to door but that would have taken all night....so in the strollers we went and got us our candy!!! another great perk of Halloween...LOTS of candy for mommy! Needless to say we all had a blast! Here are some pics of our Halloween!

PUMPKIN PATCH

So when I was growing up we used to always go this pumpkin patch on middlebrooke...it scared the poo out of me!! So I have tried to make it some sort of a tradition, and take the twins every year! We have done it each year so far!! Brodie really enjoyed it! He really enjoys anything new! It took Kilah a minute but she did really enjoy it too! It was so sun! I love taking them new places and seeing it all for the first time thru their eyes!! The world is a great place thru their eyes!!!Here are some pictures of that day and last year because I didn't do this fun blog thing last year...so just pretend!!!!

I just looked thru this entry and realized i haven't said anything or put up many pictures of my girl! SHAME ON ME!!!! Kilah Koo...that's what we call her! She is such a girl, she loves to pretend to read books,but she calls them "boops", she also loves to just walk and talk and sing! she is just so sweet and already has her own space and doesn't want Brodie to bother her!!! But he does! He actually drives her crazy! But at the same time she always wakes up from nap early and is looking and calling for him until he wakes! She calls him "Bubba!" sometimes it sounds like "Bobie!" They love each other so much already! It is the sweetest thing to watch, The bond of a twin is unlike anything I have ever seen...it can warm the coldest of hearts!! She also loves her name and says it all the time! She is our little Chatty Cathy!

The other day I was cleaning the highchair trays, and I look over and Brodie is standing on the coffee table!!!! He looks so proud doesn't he??? I could not help but laugh and grab the camera!! Notice his little helper behind him! My sweet lovey little monkey!!!

He has turned into my wild one He has started to act more like a boy, which Kilah doesn't enjoy to much! But no matter how "boyish" he is he is still the most loving sweetest little child I have ever met! He is full of hugs and kisses!

Mr and Mrs Benjamin Parker!!!

As you can see Blake's sister Brooke got married a few weeks ago and we are so excited to have a new uncle! Blake and I were in the wedding and Kilah and Brodie were honorary flower girl and ring bearer! It was such a special day and we were so happy to be able to share it with them! It was such a beautiful wedding! She was a beautiful bride (as you can see!) They were pretty stinkin cute! They weren't the best guest needless to say they didn't make it thru the whole wedding...all the music made them wanna dance and they couldn't help but say hi to Blake and I! We would like to thank Ce-Ce for helping us out that weekend and sitting with the kids during the ceremony!

WE ARE GROWING AND THINGS ARE CHANGING!

Ok! I know it as been forever since I last blogged! So let me fill you in on all the new things that are changing in our house! Well the kids now have there very own rooms!!! That was very hard for me because i feel that they have shared a living space for ever! They do sleep better apart and love to wake each other ever morning! Having there own room makes them get so much more excited when they see each other!
They also have finally got to turn there car seats around forward, which we all love! They like to look out the window and dance with me to the music in the car, and I enjoy being able to see them easier!
Brodies passie now stays in the bed which official makes him a big boy! They also are using stage 2 sippy cups and love them! They have really embraced all the changes, but it makes me feel that my babies are growing WAY to fast!

They love the Mickey Mouse Club House!!!! Kilah calls it "toodles" and Brodie calls it "hot dawg!" They love to watch it and dance and sing along! Blake and I really enjoy watching it with them too! They are really funny kids! I bought them these Little chairs and they are there new favorite thing, they like to watch the club house in there chairs!

I am so proud of my Little preemies! They are still petite ( but i was the same size they are when i was there age!) They talk really well, they will say anything they want to say and anything you don't want them to say! They love to eat and love to walk/run all over the place! They are very busy and so much fun! I am sure our life was easier before them but i just cant remember, nor do i want to these little people give me the best life ever! I just cant imagine life without them! I always say" i really must have done something so right to deserve them! because they are the best little kids i have ever met!"
I am sooooo in love with these kids!

So anyone who knows me know that my oldest nephew Miles is my first born...He stole my heart and has had it since day 1! But he is 5 now and missing his 2 front teeth and is truly a big boy! Being a big boy means he just doesn't need me like he used to, sad i know! But the coolest thing about him growing and me having my own children is to watch him with Kilah and Brodie! Miles is one of Kilahs very favorite people...we have his picture on the fridge and she carries it around and says "Miles" all the time! She loves him like i love him! AND....... he doesn't love on me like he used to cause when your 5 its just not cool anymore, but he loves on my girl like crazy! He carries Kilah around and plays with her and she loves it! It makes me sad that he is so big but it just warms my heart to see his love for me go all the way to my children! So here are some pics of his first baseball game and Kilahs first sucker! Isn't Mile so handsome!!!

As you can see the twins love bath time! we head up stairs and Kilah is already screaming "baff!!" But here lately we have had the funnest baths ever!! First we took a bath with drew.... then we pilled in the bath with our cousins Miles, Mason and Anna! we love them soooooo much!Have you ever seen a more crowded bathtub? Its a good thing CeCe has a big tub!!!I have to say that i have the best niece and nephews ever!!!! look at how cute all of the crew is in the bath! The twins and i love to hang out with the them and it is soooo fun to watch them play together!

A few weeks ago Blake's cousins brought there son Drew to visit...they are expecting twins...sooo excited for them!!!! I t was bath night for the kids and Drew decided he needed to have a bath too! Brodie White!

This little man is a mean lean climbing machine!He is also very funny he is constantly saying something its mainly just "jabbering"but he is always VERY busy! He started to walk this week and is also saying a few words he says " momma, daddy, Lola, juice, bites, and truck!" Lola is our dog and he loves her!He really loves to climb into boxes or anything and sit in it and talk and "fix"it!In the picture you see him sitting in his favorite musical banjo! He likes to sit in it and play music and dance! He really is something always falling and bumping his head, but hes tough! He is the sweetest most snuggly baby ever and he will melt any heart! He has already turned mine into mush!

KILAH CELENE!

This little girl is so amazing! She is so full of life and so fun to be around! I really just cant get enough of her! She is walking, and talking she can say almost anything she wants..."up, juice,momma, Brodie, daddy,baby,bites,love you,more"and so on! She amazes me every day! She has the best facial expressions, and is always into everything, and is completely fearless!! She weighs about 18 lbs and is a petite little lady...just like me as a baby! To know Kilah is to totally LOVE Kilah!

Kilah started first on and now is walking anywhere she wants! Brodie shortly followed but is still getting the hang of it! Well I did it... I buzzed my boys hair!!!! I buzzed Kilahs at 4 months and now Brodies at 13 months! I have to say as odd as it sounds it was harder for me to buzz Brodies!

Brodie loved his cake! He really dug in! When we took his cake away he went after Kilahs! Kilah ate her cake like a little lady! She didn't get too messy! We joked that she ate the sand at the beach better than her cake!

This was such a bitter sweet day for me! My babies are growing so fast and they are getting funner every day! I would like to thank everyone that shared this special day with us! Your presence will never be forgotten! They both are very active and funny! I am always wondering what are they gonna do next?

O I just can not believe it has already been a year! and what a wonderful year it has been! These two babies have given me so much joy and so many memories this year i cant even remember life with out them! They were born on June 9,2006 and came home July 3rd..and our house hasn't been quiet since! Kilah and Brodie have by far passed any "preemie" standards... they are right where they should be if they were full term babies! i am so proud! It is hard for me to even try to type the feelings i feel toward these two because to me words can not even start to explain, they are absolutely amazing and I love them more every day and i never thought that was possible

BRODIE BRODIE BRODIE! what a little man! as you can see he also had a great time at the beach and pool, but it wore him out!He also loved to eat the sand, and he LOVED the sticks the most! he had fun finding little tiny shells! he had a blast crawling on the sand! what a sweet boy i have, he always has a smile on his face a kiss to blow you! i love this littel man so much i could lick his face off!

This child loved the beach and everything about life this week! i am sad to report the i think hilton head is no longer a beach because Kilah ate all the sand on the island.... seriously she ate the sand like it was candy!!! She is so close to walking and growing so fast! this child is a mess! i love watching her grow and see how many times she can surprise me and make me laugh in one day! it is so crazy to see someone so little who reminds you so much of your self on a daily basis! i just love her..... look at a few of my fav pics of her at the beach.

HILTON HEAD ISLAND MAY 2007!

Ce-Ce took all 5 of her grand babies and all 3 of her girls and just 1 son in law to Hilton head in may! it was a blast! Kilah and Brodie had a blast all week, they swam in the pool, ate sand at the beach, felt the ocean water, and ate at the salty dog cafe! They did soooo many fun things on this trip but i know there favorite thing was hanging out with there cousins, i enjoyed it too i miss getting to see Miles, Mason and Anna Katherine! This was our first LONG trip away from home and the kids handled it like champs! we just cant wait to go again next year and see how different it will be! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! Ce-Ce for taking us to the beach we will never forget this trip and how much fun we all had as one BIG happy family! We love you soooooooo much!

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY TO ME!

On my very first Mothers day we were at the beach and it was perfect! We got to spend the day with all the people we love the most..Ce-Ce, Aunt Jessica,Aunt Boo and all of our cousins! Blake and the twins got me the most beautiful bracelet and i just love it! I enjoyed that day so much i cant wait till my next mothers day! To me mothers day is the best day EVER! So happy late Mothers day to all you Mommas out there!

Kilah and I got invited to a church mothers day lunch! My first mommy and daughter event! it was so fun...kind of odd to me to be out without both of them....but nice! Thank you to all the ladies that threw the lunch it was so yummy, and so special to me and my family!

Happy Easter! I know I Have dropped the "Blog ball" Jessica told me all about it! So i am gonna try to catch you up on all thats new in "Kilah and Brodies World" We had a great Easter, and were 2 of the 5 best dressed kids at church..thanks Ce-Ce! But too bad we had to wear sweaters to keep us warm! The kids loved there easter baskets and all the goodies the Easter bunny left! Then it was off to aunt Jessicas house to play with our favorite cousins! I really enjoy our first holidays and watching the kids enjoy them I know it will only get better each year! Kilah Celene! My wild child! She is now pulling up on whatever and whenever she wants! She walks all over the house in her walker and it is not gonna be too long till she is walking everywhere! She also decided to climb a few stairs this week too! you cant take your eyes off her for one minute! She is so fun and active she will be the child that keeps me young! I see myself in her so much it kind of scares me! My favorite thing to say is " i should have been a better kid!" Ce-Ce just sits back and grins!

We had our first trip to the ball park to see "my miles" play baseball and it was bitter sweet for me I admit I got a little choked up at my miles! I was so proud of him and we enjoyed it so much Blake grew up on a ball field as did I so it was fun to be back and enjoy the day with the kids! Brodie White! How can you not just love him?! He has become very talkative... He says Dada. Lola (our dog), Kilah but still no momma! He is so easy going and happy! He steals my heart daily! He smiles and my heart just melts! He has cahnged the most in the last 10 months! He is not pulling up but loves to stand up next to his sister and play with her... but then falls and scares himself on the way down! They really do enjoy each other so much!

KILAH CELENE MILES!! What a doll baby! My little Mini- me! Kilah is gonna give me a run for my money! Not only does this child look like me she also acts like me! She is so full of life and boy is she nosey! Kilah can say "MOMMA" and "DADA"!! She is a HUGE momma girl but if i am not around she sure does love her CE-CE! She has 2 teeth and i was so happy when the teething process was over cause she didn't make it very fun! DRAMA QUEEN! She LOVES to eat and will eat until there is absolutely no more room! This child will never miss a meal!

BRODIE WHITE MILES!! What an angel he is ? Brodie is talking NON-Stop! He says "DADA" and "YA"! No MOMMA yet but i introduce myself to him everyday! Brodie is always into something and loves to smile!He has 1 and 1/2 teeth! Even while teething he was as happy as always! He loves to roll/ crawl under things and "fix" them! I cant believe it has already been 9 months! Kilah and Brodie are just amazing! Kilah is crawling...in her own way and Brodie has just now decided to army cawl!When they start full on crawling I am in trouble!! They both just absolutely love having the other twin around! The first thing they want to see in the morning beside Blake or I is the other one! They get so excited kicking and waving up a storm! i have always heard that the bond of twins is amazing but being here and seeing it first hand is truly magical! I am so blessed and totally in love with these two babies!
